And I've read through numerous topics posted, and it seems this is NOT an anti-suicide group. There was even one topic about a concept of a national suicide day, a day set aside for people to either make that day the day they kill themselves, or get together in groups and commit suicide as a group. That would be interesting: A discrete message sent out, If you are considering hanging yourself, small group will gathering on this date and at this location, to hang ourselves as a group. Reply if you're interested in joining us! Anyway, I myself survived two suicide attempts when I was a teenager, and a third one when I was 24. I was 14 and spent the summer in a juvenile suicide recovery ward at the local hospital after my first attempt. All I was really left with was an extremely sore and badly bruised neck! I was released from the hospital just three days before I as to return to school. My third attempt left me unconscious for three weeks, and I was hospitalized for six months! I'm not one who would even think about encouraging someone to take their own life, but, I do think suicide is a legitimate choice. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
