This story is totally original and is written for the entertainment of X-fans.
I have tried not to infringe on the copyrights of Chris Carter, Fox, and Ten
Thirteen. Just to warn you, there is some swearing but no erotica.
I have been a fan of The X Files since it began. I love to act, so I
made up a character and plot for me to be in. Since the show doesn't except
unsolicited scripts, I thought I would at least let other fans read it. Sorry
for any spelling or grammar mistakes.

        "Okay, start whenever you're ready."
Lisa stood in the middle of a crowded room. There was silence as
everyone waited. When her parents had offered to fly her up to the audition
for her birthday, she had jumped up and screamed, literaly. Now, she was
going to give lines for the main part. Being the pessimist she was, she
knew she was trying out for an extra, nothing more.
"Hey, you're those FBI agents, aren't you?" The man nodded. She
wasn't really sure who he was, only that he worked with Chris Carter. For the
time being he was Scully and Mulder. Lisa did her best to look nervous and
licked her lips.
"I may be able to help you." The man looked at her. The script said
to walk, but their location didn't offer many places to go.
"That boy, Kevin. He was in my english class." Lisa figited as her
charecter and looked around for anyone that was spying on her. She took a
deep, dramatic breathe.
"He was talking to me after school one day. He was acting really
strange: mumbling about this hum he hears," Lisa chuckled nervously. "At
first I thought he was kidding," Lisa looked at the man/Mulder and Scully
intensly. "He was serious."
She shook her head silently. "I knew he was weird, but... I never
thought he'd do something like this."
Lisa stood still until the man smiled and nodded. The audition was
over.

Lisa screamed. "I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT!" She looked
at her parents. They stared back. No matter how hard they tried, they just
couldn't see how important this was to her.
"I'M AN EXTRA!" Her mother wondered why her daughter was so excited.
She didn't even have any lines.
"I GET TO SEE DAVID DUCHOVNY, AND GILLIAN ANDERSON, AND CHRIS CARTER
ALL IN PERSON!" She looked at her parents. They stared at her like she had
gone mad. Lisa looked down sheepishly and stopped yelling.
"It's a good thing you're not in this during the school year." Lisa
bodded her head and rolled her eyes. "Don't you be disrespectful young lady!"
Lisa looked at her mother. The woman's eyes were stone. "Yes, maam."

"So, you made the cut too?" The girl smiled. Lisa was sitting in a
large cafeteria near the set in Van Couver. The girl looked her age and
smiled warmly.
"I guess so." Lisa smiled. On the plane she had visions of everyone
laughing her off the set. "How old are you?" she asked.
        "14."
"Hey, me too!" Lisa learned that the girl's name was Kara Weymaster.
The two girls grew silent as Chris Carter walked to a microphone at
one end of the room.
"Welcome to the X Files," blared the speaker. He smiled at the thirty
highschoolers. Lisa was in awe.
"In case you don't know, I'm Chris Carter." A few laughs erupted.
Everyone knew who Chris Carter was. "I am the writer of this episode and will
be directing. So please, bere with me." The kids smiled, and Chris smiled
back.
"You'll be getting a schedule for when to come to the set. We'll be
filming with you for four days. And," he added omenisly. ",be prepared for
some late nights." A few people groaned jokingly.
Chris Carter exited out one of the doors and people started handing
out scedules. Kara cought the awed look on Lisa's face and stared at her.
"You don't act much, do you?"
"Never profesionaly. Diffinitly not for my favorite show on earth."
Kara chuckled as someone handed her a schedule.

"Okay, lets try it." Lisa possitioned herslef in front of the locker.
She had seen David and Gillian coming on to the set. She had desperatly
wanted to talk to them, but couldn't bring herslefe to.
"Action!" David and Gillian walked down the hall, followed by cameras
on tracks. They went through the lines as Scully and Mulder. As Lisa
pretended to get her books, she thought of it as pure poetry.
"CUT!" Lisa turned around. David stopped mid-line. Lisa looked to
see what the problem was. She almost fainted when she saw that David and
Gillian were right in front of her.
"It's that locker mirror," said a camera man. "The lights shine off
it and ruin the shot." Lisa turned around to see the offending mirror on HER
locker. David and Gillian had automatically turned to see and she felt her
eyes conect with theirs.
"Hey, um, Lisa isn't it?" Carter asked. She nodded, shocked that he
knew her name.
"Why don't you just take it down and put it out of sight." Lisa
quickly took down the mirror and squeezed into the locker, out of sight.
She turned around to see David and Gillian going to their former
places. She turned back to the locker.
"Lets try it again. Action!" David and Scully repeated the lines,
and the scene was filmed without a hitch.

Lisa stood in the same hallway. This time she had a different outfit,
and three times as much makeup on her face. A boy stood next to her that had
introduced himself as Brad. They were to walk with his arm around her.
David and Scully took their places ten feet behind them. Kara stood
further up in the hallway, waiting for her que.
"Lets try the rehersal." Lisa and Brad started walking down the
hallway. Fast footsteps approuched from behind. Soon, David and Gillian went
running by with trenchcoats flying. Lisa looked up with her best surprised
expression.
"Hold it!" Lisa looked over to Carter. He was shaking his head in
frustration. He stood up and pointed first to Lisa and Brad, then David and
Gillian.
"The timing's off." Lisa looked at him quizically. David and Gillian
walked back. Carter walked over to her.
"How many steps were you taking before they came by?" Lisa opened her
mouth but Brad spoke first.
"Three-and-a-half, maybe four." Lisa nodded. Carter motioned for
them to follow him and went to their starting place.
"I think we should go for three steps." Lisa and Brad stood next to
him and watched. "Boom, boom, boom," he said, exagarating each step. He
looked at David and Gillian.
"You two should start about five feet further up." He looked around
for something. A seemingly psychic woman handed him a role of tape. He
smiled gratefully and tapped a long peace onto the floor.
He walked back to his chair and everyone took their places.
"Lets try it again." Lisa and Brad took their three steps. Exactly
when she put her foot down, Lisa looked up surprisedly as David and Gillian
ran by. She thought it had been perfect when Gillian stumbled and fell on her
hands and knees.
Lisa jogged up a few steps, but stopped when David helped her off the
floor. Carter ran up to Gillian and asked her if she was alright. She
nodded.
Motioning to her knees, Gillian said, "I don't think my pantyhose
survived." Relieved laughter rippled through the fake hall as Gillian walked
off stage.
Lisa walked back to Brad where he looked at her strangely. She stared
back. "What?" He shook his head and looked away. Lisa rolled her eyes in
reflex and went to her place.
"Okay, lets make it count," Carter said as Gillian walked back in with
new pantyhose. Lisa and Brad walked their three steps, and David and Gillian
ran by. They continued down the hall and past Kara.
"That's great!" Carter called. "Now lets do it for real." Lisa
walked back to her place with Brad once again as film was loaded into the
camera.

"Well, it's better than hospital food." Kara poked at the greasy
hamburger on her tray. Lisa smiled through the look of disgust permanitly
stamped on her face.
"It's better than school," Lisa chimed in. They sat at a table in the
cafiteria. Kara had been stuck doing the same scene over and over until four
the past night. Lisa realized how lucky she was.
"What *isn't* better than school food?" Lisa laughed. She stopped
when she spied David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson walking into the room.
Kara noticed them too.
"I hope for their sake they're not here for the food." Kara laughed
at Lisa's joke. She munched on french fries as Lisa watched them stupidly.
They sat down at a table and chatted with a few of the crewmen.
Lisa's expression turned to one of longing. She wanted to talk to them, but
couldn't work up the nearve.
"Come on, lets go." Lisa stared at Kara.
"Huh? Where?" Kara sighed dramatically and grabbed her arm.
"Where do you think? I can see that look on your face." Lisa looked
at her in horrer. She didn't protest for fear of drawing attention.
"Kara, I'm going to murder you," Lisa whispered under her breathe.
"No, you'll thank me," Kara replied with the same tone. "But don't
expect me to do the introductions."
David and Gillian looked up as they approached. They were smiling.
Kara let go off Lisa's arm and gave her a little push.
"Hi, I'm a huge fan and she's making me come up and talk to you."
David smiled broadly.
"Well," he said. "I hope it's not *that* bad to talk to us." Lisa
chuckled. She thought she was about to faint.
"I hope you're enjoying yourself here," Gillian said.
Lisa groaned. "Now I know what you mean in interviews when you say
you have a hectic scedule." They all laughed and groaned.
David looked at his watch. He turned to Gillian. "We're due back at
the set." She nodded.
"It's been nice meeting you," she said to Lisa. Kara had since faded
into the background. David nodded and smiled before he turned and walked
away.
"Are you still going to kill me?" Lisa looked at Kara. She felt like
hugging her.

*       *       *       *       *       *       *       *       *       *

Lisa sat next to Kara on a metal bench. They did a good job with
their acting, even if they would show up as blobs in the back of the shot.
Mulder and Scully were having a heated conversation in close up.
Kara laughed silently and motioned with her hands. Lisa smiled and
soundlessly told her about a really cute senior that she saw.
After eight takes, the scence was finaly completed. They stood up and
streched.
"Well, that's it," Kara said to her. "The final scene."
Lisa stuck out her hand jubilently. "It's been nice working with
you," she announced. Then confusion took over her expression. Kara laughed.
"I did *not* mean that," Lisa said, trying to keep a strait face.
Kara stopped laughing and stuck out her hand. "All Done Bye Bye."
They both giggled and started walking off the set.
"When are you leaving?" Kara asked.
        "Tonight. You?"
"Same. What's left to do until than?" she asked asked with mock
terror. Lisa looked up to see David Duchovny walking in there direction.
Lisa was surprised when he came up to them both.
"I saw what the cafiteria food was like," he said with a smile. "I
was wondering if you'd like to join me for lunch?" Lisa nodded gratefully.
He was charming, and very good looking.
"I think I'd die if I had to eat another grease filled burger," Kara
said as she clutched her stomach. David laughed and they started walking.
Lisa looked at him. He wore beige dockers and a white shirt. His
brown hair was a perfect length. She examined his profile and loved every
inch of it.
Lisa sighed. 'I'm about to have lunch with God.'

Author's note: In case you don't know me or didn't figure it out, Lisa is me.
That's how I would react if I got to be an extra on The X Files. Still, the
actual story is fictional, as well as some of the charecters. My parents
aren't like that in real life. And I doubt David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson,
and Chris Carter would act like they did here. Still, it's ment for
entertainment.
BTW, It's 2:19 PM write now. I just wrote this and am going to post it. Be
kind :).
