Title: Memory Parity Errors in Older 3S/400 Servers
Date: 4-25-89

Copyright 3Com Corporation, 1991. All rights reserved.

In 3S/400 servers, some motherboards dated earlier than Assembly
3600-01 Rev A may cause memory parity errors when a Memory
Expansion Board (MEB) is added.

Not all of the early motherboards exhibit this problem. But if
you see memory parity errors that stop when the MEB is removed,
or if your motherboard is earlier than 3600-01 Rev A and you plan
to run 3+Open, contact your dealer to return the motherboard for
repair or replacement. Resellers should contact 3Com RMA
directly at 1-800-876-3266.
