The 60 MB Wangtek drive used in 3Server3s and 3S/200s requires the
Adaptec 3530 tape drive controller. There are three different
versions of the board; each one requires a different jumper setting.

Version 1 (no longer available)

The board has no silkscreened assembly number. It is P/N 1029-00,
labeled "old" in the parts list.

Jumpers: Set jumpers on J1, J4, and the pair of jumper points
that sit in the opposite angle near J4, these points
should be jumpered to look like an 'L' shape. In the
two rows of eight pairs of jumper points, the two pairs
of points closest to the PROM also have jumpers.

Terminators: There are no terminators on the board. An external
terminator connects to the SCSI bus port on the back of
              the unit.

Version 2

Silkscreened assembly number 400066-xx.

Jumpers: This board has a jumper block labeled J4 and has four
pairs of points. Connect the first three pairs, A1, A2,
and A4, to select SCSI ID 7 for the tape controller.

Terminators: Terminators are located at RP1, RP2, and RP6. No
external terminator should be installed on the back of
the unit; it can damage the board.

Version 3

Silkscreened assembly number ACB-3530GA.

Jumpers: Connect jumper pairs J6-J8 to select SCSI ID 7 for the
tape controller. Connect the J9 jumper block to set up
parity. The J10 jumper block is not used.

Terminators: Terminators are located at RN1, RN2, and RN3. No
external terminator should be installed on the back of
the unit; it can damage the board.

Note: The 3Server3 Hardware Reference manual (P/N 2614-01) does not depict
the correct controller diagram for the instructions given in the manual.
