This message may appear in the error log:

NET3190: a networksta internal error has occurred: NCBDone, NCB
   not recognized

It has also been known to flood the server and, in one case, might have been
the cause of a server hang.

The NCBDone routine is called from NetBIOS to notify the Redirector of the
completion of an NCB (network control block). The error message above
indicates that the Redirector does not recognize the format of the NCB.

In LAN Manager 1.01 (3+Open 1.1), a bug produces the symptoms described
above. When NCBDone is called during an interrupt cycle, the Redirector
will not recognize the format of the NCB. In most cases this occurs during
Autodisconnect.

Microsoft Corporation claims the problem is fixed in the LAN Manager
2.0 release. For now, small and medium sized networks can work around the
problem by disabling Autodisconnect. In the Server section of the LANMAN.INI
file, put -1 for the AUTODISCONNECT parameter. For large networks that use
all available sessions, this is not an option. However, the error rarely
causes more problems than an entry in the error log.
