3+Mail users can send messages to each other on MCI Mail using
3+Reach/MCI. The sender creates a 3+Mail message and addresses
it to a remote 3+Mail recipient using a 3+Reach gateway. The
gateway transmits the message to MCI Mail, and MCI forwards the
message to the receiver's MCI mailbox. A 3+Reach/MCI gateway on
the receiver's network can then retrieve the message from MCI Mail
to 3+Mail, which delivers the message to the receiver.

To pass through MCI Mail, 3+Mail messages must be addressed as shown
below.

Addressing a Remote EMS Subscriber:

     To: {User Name\EMS:EMS Name\User ID}:MCI:Org

Addressing a 3+Mail user:

     To: {User Name\EMS:REMS Name\Domain:Organization}:MCI:Org

User Name:Domain:Organization = the 3-part name of the
receiver registered in the 3+Name service.

EMS Name = the receiver's Remote Electronic Mail Service
(REMS) account registered with MCI Mail.

MCI:Org = the local domain name specified in the 3+Name
service to address MCI mail for the 3+Reach gateway.

For example:

     To: {John Smith\EMS:3Com\HQ:3Com}:MCI:3Com
