Title: Using IBM's Dual Async Adapters on PS/2 Servers Running 3+Open

Users have noticed that print jobs sent to shared printer queues on the
the IBM Dual Async adapter (COM2-COM5), may cause the server to do a
hard reset (starts POST).

Likewise, if LAN Man software is disabled and you attempt to copy a file
from OS/2 to a port on the Dual Async adapter, the machine does a hard
reset (starts POST). Ports and the cable work fine under DOS.

3Com Tech Support has discovered that the IBM Dual Async adapter is
hardwired to use Interrupt 3, which is also the default interrupt for
the Etherlink/MC adapter.

Changing the interrupt used by the Etherlink/MC to either 7 or 9 allows
you to print to any port on an IBM Dual Async adapter. This has been
tested by 3Com Tech Support with two Dual Async adapters printing
to COM2:, COM3:, COM4:, and COM5.
