If your netstation's disk drives are formatted with partitions larger than
32 MB, you will have a problem trying to install from a 3Server.

The standard way to install your netstation is to boot with the netstation
utility diskette, link the servers C$ sharename, then run Netsetup and
install.

Unfortunately the DOS version that is provided on the netstation utility
diskette cannot recognize partitions larger than 32 MB. Hence, when the
customer tries to install to drive C: (the local hard disk), the
installation will fail.

For a successful installation on a hard disk with partitions larger than
32 MB, follow these steps:

1. Boot from the local hard disk and format a diskette with the /s
option.

2. Insert the NETSTATION UTILITY diskette and run WKSINITO.EXE,
selecting the proper options, then reboot.

3. Follow the 3+Open documentation and release notes for installation
and install to the floppy diskette that you formatted in step 1.

4. Reboot with the new floppy and logon as admin.

5. Follow the 3+Open documentation and release notes for installation
and install to the hard disk.

This should work in all cases where the DOS on the hard disk allows for
partition greater than 32 MB. In cases where partition greater than 32 MB
is achieved via a software driver, modify the CONFIG.SYS file on the floppy
you formatted in step 1 to include the driver.
