Title: How to Free Up Space on C Drive (and Fix 3SIS Error 278)
Date: 10/8/90

While running 3SIS to install a 3Com value-added service onto a 3+Open
server, you may get the error message "Operation Failed [278]." The most
likely cause is that the server's C drive is out of space, causing the script
to fail when it attempts to copy files to that drive.

Serious problems occur when the C drive fills up. To prevent problems, 3Com
recommends moving as many files off the C drive as possible. The following
files or directories can be moved from C to a different drive by editing the
appropriate parameter to show the new location:

File or Directory Parameter
----------------- ---------
OS/2 swap file swappath= in CONFIG.SYS
LAN Manager spool directory spooldir= in Spooler section of LANMAN.INI
Backup logs directory tapeinfopath= in Tapeservice section of
        LANMAN.INI
User directories userpath= in Server section of LANMAN.INI
Applications dosapps, os2apps, and famapps sharenames, in
                                c:\apps by default
Name service database databasepath= in 3name section of LANMAN.INI
