Title: Using AppleTalk Bridges With 3+Share 1.5

Using 3+ 1.5, a Macintosh user on the far side of an AppleTalk bridge can log
in and view a server on the main network, but, when the user tries to link
to a drive, the error message "Server not responding" is displayed. The
problem has been observed by 3Com Tech Support on the Kinetics FastPath,
but, theoretically, it could exist with any bridge.

The problem lies in IDP.SYS. If you put NetProbe on the wire and watch the
packets going between the two nodes, you will see the request reach the
server, but then the server will try to respond to an unknown Ethernet
address in the format '01xx45000000'.

The solution, documented in the 3+ 1.5 release notes, is to take the IDP.SYS
that comes with 1.5 and put it on every one of the servers in the network,
whether or not they will be upgraded to 1.5.
