Title: Fitting Power Supplies in a CS/1 Chassis

Four or more years ago, CS/1 products contained Boschert power
supplies. When we began using Deltron power supplies, the
position of the holes in the CS/1 chassis was changed so that the
Deltron unit could be put into the chassis.

Now some CS/1 products use the new Boschert power supply. With
the new Boschert model, it is not possible to insert the screw
which goes through the power supply cover on the left side of the
system, viewed from the front. (Don't worry about this, just
leave the screw out.)

To tell the difference between the old and new Boschert power
supplies, check for the following:

* The old Boschert has many holes in the base of the mounting
bracket and will not fit properly in any CS/1 style chassis built
in the last 3-4 years.

* The new Boschert has an adapter plate on the bottom, so the
bottom of the bracket is double thick. Three flat-head machine
screws with washers and nuts hold the adaptor plate on the
bracket base, and the adapter has four threaded holes, two at
each end.

The Deltron supply is P/N 08-0087-00 (110VAC), 08-0087-01 (230VAC).
It is a 180W supply.

The new Boschert supply is P/N 08-0186-00 (110VAC), and 08-0186-01
(230VAC). It is a 210W supply.

The old Boschert supply is P/N 08-0039-00 (110VAC), and 08-0039-01
(230VAC). It is a 200W supply.

The new Boschert supply is required for an IB/3 with four ITC/M
boards (T-1 controllers) in the US (110VAC, 60Hz countries). For
50 Hz operation you may find that the new Boschert is required
for an IB/3 with three ITC/M boards, or for a CS/1 with four SIO-
16 boards.
