Title: Using 3DISK386.EXE to Display Partition Sizes

After installing 3+Open on a 3S/401, a user established a 3C
connection to the server and ran 3DISK386 to check the media
integrity of the hard drive. However, when he looked at the
partitions on the partitions on the base unit hard drive via
the Show DOS Volumes command, he saw incorrect volume sizes such
as the following:

           DRIVE Space in MB
            C 30.83
            D 0.04
            E - 0.54
            F 3.60
            G - 40.73

To solve the problem, the user needed to use the version of
3DISK386.EXE that is provided on the "3Server386 Utility
Diskette," which can read both the old (3+ version 1.3.1 and
earlier) and new (3+Open) volume tables. (Volume tables are
written to the drive at format time by 3DISK386.EXE.)

After a new volume table was created to support OS/2 formats, only
the latest version of 3DISK386.EXE could read the information from
the new tables.
