Q: When using the Paradox database application on a 3Station with
expanded memory, I get the error "unexpected software int6 at
XXXX:xxxx". How can I avoid this error?

A: The error is probably caused by not having version 3.2 of the
emsim.sys driver (expanded memory simulator) and the emstat
program, since Paradox will not run without them. To make sure,
check the config.sys file to see if there is a line
"device=emsim.sys." Also, check the autoexec.bat file for the
program "emstat." Run emstat to see what version is installed.
The version number will appear in the upper right-hand corner of
the screen.

If the version you have is older than 3.2, or you are missing the
files, contact Customer Support.
