Title: Intermittent hangs on a Compaq 386/20 workstation
Date: 7/20/88

Copyright 3Com Corporation, 1991. All rights reserved.

A COMPAQ 386/20 with a VGA card and an Etherlink II adapter was being
used as a workstation, but intermittently it hung up. The problem
occurred in any application (user application, 3+menus, etc...).

It turns out that it was being used with an enhanced keyboard with
Paradox. COMPAQ has a known problem when using an enhanced keyboard
which requires a driver called int9.sys to be installed. The driver
must be included in the CONFIG.SYS file; otherwise the system may
hang.
