Title: Using the Ziyad bin feeder with a LaserJet and EtherSeries

I've worked with the Ziyad sheet feeder quite a bit. When it first came
out, there were a lot of problems with it -- mainly with the way it
worked with the LaserJet, not its performance with the network. Ziyad
has made several improvments, though, and the last I worked with it,
things were fine. Here's what I know about it:

: It sits below the Laserjet and is a dual sheet feeder.

: The network printer cable connects to the Ziyad sheet feeder, and then
a short cable comes from the sheet feeder to the printer.

: The sheet feeder "looks" at all characters that are sent to the
printer. When it sees the following string \\x\\ it interprets this
as a sheet feeder control string (where 'x' is a number from 0 to 5).
The 'x' tells the sheet feeder which bin to pull paper from. Since the
network echos all characters received straight through to the spooler,
this shouldn't pose any problems.

: Ziyad had several problems with static electricity building up in the
printer and causing all kinds of problems. If contacted, they will
send gounding straps that will discharge the build up.

: The sheet feeder has removable ROMs that Ziyad has updated to
cure other small problems, as well as adding an audible bell that
announces when the sheet feeder is empty.

: One can simply bypass the sheet feeder and connect the network
printer cable directly to the LaserJet. If things work fine, which
they more than likely will, the problem is with the user not
understanding the operation of the sheet feeder and its codes.
