Symptom: Attempting to link to a shared directory and getting the message
"Not enough memory."

Solution: If you are running under MultiFinder, you probably need to raise
the amount of memory allocated to the Finder. The Finder keeps
information on all the objects in open folders in memory (the
default memory partition for the Finder under MultiFinder is
160K). To change the amount of memory for the Finder, select the
Finder file in your system folder and then select the Getinfo
item under the File menu. There is a box at the bottom that
contains a value that you can modify. Bump that value up as best
you can, depending on the amount of memory in your system.

It would be better if files are subbdivided into separate
folders as much as possible. This would help a lot and stop
others from encountering this problem.
