To print several PageMaker documents try this procedure:

         1. Open a PageMaker document and go to the chooser to select
             the LaserWriter, then close.
         2. Pull down the File menu and go to Print. Change the printer
driver from Aldus to Apple and you're all set to print.

Tip: Don't switch to the Apple driver after you have saved your
document while still on the Aldus driver.

Once you have saved a document in Pagemaker under any set of
"preferences" such as page format, printer drivers, etc., you can
run into problems if you then change those preferences and then
re-edit and try to print. Multiple Pagemaker errors (Postscript
errors) will occur at the printer when attempting to print.
After rebooting the server it seems to print properly. It is presumed
to be a problem which is related to an interaction between the
Laserwriter and the Ethermac spooler. This particular scenario
was with an IBM printing to the Apple Laserwriter over the network,
but this has also happened when working with a Mac as well.

IBM Pagemaker works (except for the errors on occasion) with an
Apple Laserwriter over a standard network. You have to EP link the
printer to prn:, direct the output of Pagemaker to LPT1:, and use the
Apple/Postscript Driver provided with IBM Pagemaker.
