Title: Configuring 3Servers to Add a Tape Drive

If you add a tape drive to a 3Server, 3Server70, 3Server3, or 3S/200 server,
you must reconfigure the tape drive; otherwise, the hard disk drive will
fail. Make sure that these conditions are met:

1. The tape drive must be configured for SCSI address 7.

2. The tape drive must be terminated on the SCSI bus.

    * WANGTEK tape drive termination should be done on the
controller (P/N 1742-01). Requires three resistor packs.

    * TANDBERG or ARCHIVE tape drive termination should be done on
the tape drive. Requires three resistor packs.

3. The parity jumper on ARCHIVE/TANDBERG drives must be removed. (The
Wangtek tape controller comes with the parity jumper removed.)
