Title: Fix for Problem Accessing CD ROM After 3+ Login or Logout

To access a CD ROM device over the network, you must use MSCDEX (Microsoft
CD EXtensions). MSCDEX uses the Redirector and places an entry in the
Redirector table. However, when the LOGIN.EXE and LOGOUT.EXE programs are
run, the Redirector clears its table of all redirections. This means
that any CD ROM drive identifier will also be cleared when a user attempts
to log in or log out.

To solve the problem, install 3+Open for Enhanced DOS workstations. 3+Open's
LOGON and LOGOFF commands are aware of MSCDEX and do not clear the link.

Note: 3+Open for Enhanced DOS workstations can only be obtained by
purchasing 3+Open. Therefore, this solution is best if you already have
3+Open software or are planning to upgrade to 3+Open from 3+.

If you are not upgrading, here is a workaround for 3+ workstations:

1. In the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, put LOGIN.EXE before MSCDEX is executed.

2. Reboot and reload MSCDEX.

Note: Any logout or new login on the workstation will flush the
Redirector's table and access to the CD will again be lost. Each time
you want to log in again to the CD, reboot your workstation.
