Following is a way to install 3+Open Internet on an IBM PS/2
model 80.  It has not been officially tested by 3Com Quality Assurance and
therefore is not supported by 3Com Tech Support; use it at your own risk.

Hardware configuration:

   * IBM PS/2 Model 80-300 with 60 MB memory
   * IBM Token Ring card
   * AST 4-port MCA card


Installing the software:

1.  Install a copy of IBM OS/2 1.1 Extended onto the IBM PS/2.

2.  Run NETSETUP and install OS/2 server.

3.  In CONFIG.SYS, replace the Protshell line with the following:

    Protshell = C:/OS2/SHELL.EXE  C:/OS2/ADMINCMD.EXE  /K  C:/OS2INIT.CMD

4.  Replace COM02.SYS with COM01.SYS.

5.  Place the shell command files and COM01.SYS in the necessary paths.

6.  Install 3+Open Internet, enable it, and configure it.

Up to four serial ports can be used on a PS/2.  Any more spare ports can
be used for serial printers, if required.

7.  Reboot and install 3+Open Mail (if required).

8.  Install 3+Open Name.

9.  Enable 3+Open Name and Mail.

10. Reboot the server.
