Title: Deleting hidden files

When deleting users from a network, you are aware that the user must
not have any remaining resources. Many times after deleting all known
resources, the message "user has resources" still occurs when
attempting to remove the user from the network. There may very well be
a hidden file or two in the users home directory.

The Norton Utilities (advanced edition) will check and unhide these
files over the network, without having to establish a console
connection.

The proper Norton command is FA e:*.* /HID-

         FA = File Attribute
e:*.* /Hid = tells Norton to look on the e: drive for any file with
              the hidden attribute.

          - = The minus sign says to unhide the file.

I prefer to run the Norton command NI, which is an interactive method
of performing any of the Norton commands, and does allow for full
system help.
