This is the answer to the case where Remote never worked on a
COM2 port of an XT but always worked on COM1.  A fix has been
incorporated into 3+ vers 1.3 and above.

When only one serial port is in a PC, it is by the IBM definition
COM1, even if it is set for the secondary address of 2f8.  Some
of the 3rd party serial board makers incorrectly call this COM2.

The easiest solution when you only have one com port in your PC
is to change the jumper on the board to the primary address
setting or to what the board is calling "COM1", and everything
will work fine.  Remote does work okay on a board configured for
the secondary address if it is truly COM2.  For example, if you
have a mouse on COM1, then you can run Remote on COM2 as normal.
