Whenever you enter a specific COM port into a Dial Out Route
entry, it then becomes a restricted port which means that only
those Dial Out Routes that specify it may use it. All other
Routes must use one of the unrestricted ports. If you have only
one modem, this can be a problem. If you only have one modem
then you want all the Dial out Routes to use the COM port that modem is
attached to, Therefore don't specify a COM port in the Dial Out
Routes unless you specify the same one in all the Dial Out
Routes. It is easier to just leave the default ANY in this
case.
