Title: Max number of displayable characters in a Mail message
Date: 7-20-88

Some people have recently run across the Mail problem where an
attachment longer than 20,000 gets sent to them, and Mail is
unable to display it all with F2. This leads them to think that
the attachment was chopped off, which it wasn't -- it just can't
be displayed. If they file (F5) the attachment somewhere else,
and bring it up under a different editor (not Med, which has the
same limitation), or just copy it to the printer, it'll all be
there.

This problem is a basic limitation of Mail, and will go away with
2.0.
