QUESTION: I just found what appears to be a bug with ver.20000
TCP for both the CS/1 and CS/200. When you use any Data Forward
parameter, it doesn't seem to work.

I set the Idle Timer to 200 and the Data Forward to Alphanumeric,
and the packet would not forward until the IT expired. I also
set the IT=disable and Data Forward to Alphanumeric, and the
packet was never sent. It seems Data Forward will not allow a
SetD, which is a problem for HP flow control and many other
applications.

ANSWER: This is not a bug. The Data Forwarding parameter
interacts with other session and VTP parameters and through the
TELNET ECHO parameter. You will find that if you SET (instead of
SETD) the Data Forward parameter, it will work. The interaction
of the parameters is explained in one of the guides. (I think it
is in the Configuration Guide.
