If I test my thin Ethernet with an ohm meter, what should the
reading be?

A. Thick and thin Ethernet coaxial cable should have a
reading of 50 ohms without terminators, and 25 ohms with
terminators. To this number you need to add the ohm resistance
of the cable length, and this will vary per manufacturer of
cable. Belden #3464 thin Ethernet cable has additional
resistance of 15 ohms per 1000 feet.
