HCDW is a piece of hardware which has to be build into your ST,to
check the crarried detect while running your BBS software.
It can be turned On and Off using the program HCDW in an batch file.
HCDW on - will turn it on
HCDW off - xill turn it of

While it is turned on ,and a CD is present, nothing happens. If the
carrier is dropped,HCDW will wait for 1 minute. This delay is
created to give your BBS program some time to exit, and turn off
HCDW in the batch. If HCDW isn't turned off 1 minute after the user
dropped the carrier,HCDW will reset your Atari ST.
If you will use it,it is neccecary that you system will automaticly
   boot up after a reset.
It has been tested for 2 weeks and works just fine.Lot's of fun to
know that I didn't have to check mu system every 2 hours to see if
   a crash had occured.

The hardware can be build using 'Piggybag' method.
At first you take the 74LS00.Bend all pins horizontal exept
        pin 7 and 14
You do the same whith the 4066 and the NE556.
This way you've got a little 'tower' on whitch you can solder
        all the components.
If finisch you search for a 14 pins 74... IC in the Atari.
The hardware can be put right on top of it (be ware that you
got pin 7 and 14 on the right place).Just connect the 3 wires
to the soundchip,MFP and 556 (or reset button)

Testing is quit easy.Type 'hcdw on' from your CLI and wait for a
    minute.
