                      FILEWATCH by Matt E. Hart

This TSR (6K) will allow you to spy on DOS as it processes file open requests.
The syntax is:

    C:\> filewtch [/v] [/{1-3}]

/v = print the file to video and pause

    /{1-3} = printer port

The default is /v, while /v AND /1-3 will both display and print the
    filenames.

    C:\> filewtch /v

Print the opened files to the video

    C:\> filewtch /1

Print the opened files to LPT1

    C:\> filewtch /v /2

Print the opened files to the video AND to LPT2

If you have a CD-ROM game which can be run ONLY from the CD-ROM, such as
LucasArts' X-Wing Collectors CD, and you want to speed up its access times,
then you can use this program to identify what files are being accessed when
the program seems to slow down. Then copy those files to your hard drive,
and use the registered version of XCD to force the program to access those
files from the hard drive rather than from the CD-ROM.

For example, accessing the inflight options during an X-Wing mission from
the CD-ROM is quite slow. You can speed up the access times by copying
the files being accessed to your hard drive and defining an .XCD replacement
file.
