Subject: 20. Is Samantha Fox a born again Christian?

Apparently it was announced in 1994 that Samanatha became a Christian
and was asked to perform at Greenbelt; at least, that was the festival's
explanation for why she was on the program.

Foxrocks@aol.com writes:

re: Sam's conversion to Christ.

>Really we (the den) can't believe how everyone's making such a big deal
>about it! Sam was a singer before she ever became known as a topless
>model, and likewise she was raised Roman Catholic before becoming the 80's
>#1 "Naughty Girl." Besides, all that was image anyway, not the real Sam.

>There was no magic conversion experience for her. Sammy met a woman
>working on the "Fighting Fit" workout video and after many talks, they
>became friends. This woman was a regular Church-goer and while talking
>with another friend, they invited Sam to come along with them to a
>service. Afterward, she felt pretty good about it. She went a few more
>times and then got serious attending Bible study classes and the like. It
>was a revival of what she grew up with, not some spectacular conversion of
>a lusty woman or the desperate act of a lost soul. Believe me, she's
>sincere about it.

Subject: 21. Newspaper Article: (unknown) re: Breasts Reduced?

THEY WERE 36D WHEN I DID PAGE 3 AND THE 8, has been haunted for two years
rumours that they have been reduced.

She says: "I couldn't believe it when it was reported back to me that I was
supposed to have had some inches taken off them.

"People would come up to me and ask why I'd done it. I'd just
say, 'Look at them, does that tell you the truth?'

"I'm proud of my boobs. Why on earth would I want to demolish my
greatest asset? It's nonsense.

"I work hard to keep all of my body in good shape and that includes my bust.
I swim and exercise my pectoral muscles lust like Pincess Di does. but I'm
not a a Bible basher in any way. I started to go to church about a year ago
with a friend who thought it would comfort me because I was going I
through a bad time.
'It was when my mother was very ill in hospital. I was really scared because
she's all I've got and I'm all she's got. Mum Carol, 48, suffers from an
illness called lupus which strikes the central nervous system, leaving its
victims run down and vulnerable to other illnesses.

Sam says: "Mum was so ill that she was even put on steroids. It
was terrifying to see her so ill.

"My friend said to me, 'Why don't you pray, God listens.' I went to church
and it did comfort me.

"I'm a very spiritual person. I know what's right and what's
wrong. I know that if more people believed in God the world might be
a better place.

"I do get peace and strength from prayer but you don't have to go to
church every Sunday to do that.

"Anyway, Mum is a lot better now although she still has lupus
and it can reoccur. She's my best friend and my confidante. In fact it
was Mum persuaded me to send Go For The Heart to the Song
For Europe panel.

"She knows that it's a song that will have some meaning for everyone.
A lot of people never listen to what their heart tells them to do,
they take advice from everyone but never listen to their gut instinct.
"For me, writing that song was like clearing out my life.

"I got rid of all my managers, accountants, lawyers and started all
over again. It was like washing my hands of a way of life. I simply
wiped the slate clean.

'The past two years have been difficult for me. To stand you ground
you have to be very strong. "I have lost a lot of money, I have had some
dreadful arguments, but I have learned to stand on my own two feet.
I'm very independent these days. I have my own staff, my own home and I
pay the wages.

"When my father ran the show I didn't know the price of a pint of
milk. Now I do. Hearing that the song had been selected out of 800
entries was fantastic. When the letter arrived my manager's office we
were thrilled, it was brilliant to know I'd made it on sheer merit.
My mate Jonathan King, who is organising the show this year, was
astounded when he discovered it was me singing the song.

"When he told one of the judges that it was Sam Fox, he says the
almost fainted.

I even considered going incognito for the whole event. I thought
about wearing a black wig and dark glasses. But Crissie Bonacci
and Lauraine McKintosh, the girls in our band, said it was pointless,
everyone would see through it.

"They're right, even if I nip down the shops with my hair in a ponytail
without a scrap of make-up people still recognise me."

But Sam still plans to make a big impact when she performs Go
For The Heart in the Song For Europe contest.

She says: "l'm not letting on what outfit I'm wearing, but I promise
it will not disappoint my fans."

Sam admits that after years of living in Spain and America, there
really is no place like home. She says: "I'm very settled back in
England, I can relate to the people here. There's nothing Like the British
sense of humour. In Britain you know that to succeed you have to be good.
They don't suffer fools easily and there is a great respect here for hard
work.

"In America people regarded me as a bit of a curiosity. They loved my English
accent, but they could never understand the idea of Page Three.
I used to try to explain that Page Three was an institution and they were
fascinated.

"All the top models in America think nothing of strutting their
stuff now, but it was a different story six years ago. "
Sam, spent 18 months as a video jockey for MTV while she
 lived in New York.

Subject: 22. Newspaper Article: The SUN (U.K) re: TOP 3 LOVERS

SAM: MY TOP THREE LOVERS

SEXY Sam Fox today opens her heart to The Sun about the three men who have
been her greatest lover.

The 28-year-old former Page Three favourite says: "To me, great sex comes
from great love, not great lust.

At 28, you realise sex for the sake of it just isn't worth it. Sam also
reveals why she WON'T be tying the knot with Aussie businessman Peter Foster.

SAM FOX has known many men in her life, and she has been fancied by millions
of others. But Britain's most famous former Page Three girl says there are
just three lovers who hold a special place in her heart.

In an exclusive Interview, Sam, who wants to sing for Britain in this year's
Eurovision song contest, tells all about matador Rafi Comino, Kiss guitarist
Paul Stanley and Aussie businessman Peter Foster.

Stunning Sam, 28, says there's no man in her life now and reveals: "It's true
I've dated a lot of fellas but I haven't bonked many. "To me great sex
comes from great love, not great lust. At 28, you realise sex for the sake
of it just isn't worth it."

She confesses that since she lost her virginity at 17 she has never been
short of offers. And she has never regretted saying Yes to Latin lover Rafi.
Sam says: "Our affair was deeply passionate. We were powerfully attracted to
one another but his family were like royalty in Spain.

"In fact I was never even introduced to his parents. "I think they thought he
had his career as Spain's No 2 matador and I was a flighty thing leading him
astray. Nonetheless, it was a great and very romantic time."

She recalls how the passion started. "I was entertaining at a Spanish show
business gala. The audience was full of celebrities, but I saw him out of
the corner of my eye. When the time was right I danced from the stage on to
his table and sang to him. He handed me a single red rose which I put between
my teeth and waltzed off. He came backstage later to be greeted by my very
protective minder, who reluctantly allowed him to see me. The affair started
immediately. I was living and working in Spain, but wherever he was he would
send a private to pick me up. Everywhere went he was surrounded by about
15 minders. And when we went out for dinner he would hire the entire
restaurant.

"But while I admired his ambition, I could not stomach bullfighting.
I went to see him once and it was horrific, I threw up. I didn't want to
hurt him, but he knew how I felt. He taught me so much about Spanish culture
which I appreciated, but ironically it was the fact that he was treated like
a pop star that I found difficult to deal with.

"The girls just flocked around him. After six months of intense
passion we realised that it was great and lovely but it wasn't
going anywhere. We split up without any tears and I still hear from
him from time to time.

"When I'm attracted to a man it's not just his looks or his body
that I fancy, he's got to have a brain. Believe me, I meet a lot who
don't. I like to learn something from the men I date." Sam says
the man who taught her most was Paul Stanley, whom she met when
she was recording in New York.

She says: "He was told that I was re-mixing a tape and started
to drop into the studio over the next couple of weeks.
"I could tell he was keen. Eventually he asked me out to dinner
and sparks flew.

"I had to leave America and come back to England for a while
but when I went back we got together again.

"I never lived with Paul, I'm not sure I'm ready to live with anyone
even now but we spent a lot of time together. We flew to one
another's gigs and I was a great fan of Kiss.

"He wasn't anything like the rock 'n' roller that you would
imagine. He's a very quiet and sensitive man.

"The link between us was music. We also loved going to the theatre
and movies. It lasted for two years and to be honest, it was all a
   bit on and off.

"I lived in an apartment with my international manager, Debbie, who
was also my best mate. We just had a real laugh, and I never took
anything seriously.

"But Paul understood that and the love affair ended when I came
back to England.

"There were no tears shed. Paul and I still keep in touch with each
other. I know that if he were to come back to England then we'd
go out and have dinner together old times sake."

Sam's third great love was Australian Peter Foster.
And she exclusively reveals to The Sun today that she has decided not
to accept his recent marriage proposal.

Sam says: "He was the love of my life and I know that he is still in
love with me. When he proposed I was extremely flattered and I still am.

"But I don't know if we will ever tie the knot. It's one of those
things that will develop if it's meant to. I've told him I have my
career to think about and we will take life day by day.

"When we first met nine years ago he proposed. Back then I felt I
was too young to be committed to anyone and I still do."

Their love was rekindled 18 months ago when Peter started faxing her love
letters from Australia. Sam says: "Peter really worked hard at trying to
convince me that he was besotted with me and I honestly think he was.

"He is a persuasive and charming man and despite what people say, I like
him a lot.

"He's also ace in the art of seduction. When we met he would always send me
champagne and strawberries to me dressing room.

"He knows I like to sip champagne through crushed strawberries
to take away the acidity.

"On my first gig, in London last year, a magnum champagne and a box of
strawberries were delivered to my room. I was so high that night from
performing I didn't twig who they were from. But Mum clicked and said,
'Peter's back then'. Mums are always right, aren't they? I was bowled
over, I knew he'd been trying to track me down when I was working in
Bosnia, but to find me at a little London club was just amazing.

"I am a very different girl to the one he knew. People change in
seven years, perhaps I have changed more than him.

"I'm totally independent these days and I'd hate a man trying to
possess me body and soul.

"I like being footloose and fancy free. But I suspect not many men
cope with the idea of that.
