     HELP AND ASSISTANCE NEEDED!

Last Updated on 16 June 1998.

1) EXTREMELY desperate for a program to take CCI-NODE.### as input, and output
a duplicate of CCI-LIST.### This program will ignore all Host, Hub and
Region lines, and all lines not numbered by hundreds (only accept ,100,200,
,300,400,etc). It will then alphabetize the list, and convert the entire
list to lowercase, and append full statistics by country, active/inactive/
setting up (as of CCI-NODE.032, the * to indicate inactive, and to
indicate setting up, will be found to the left of each bbs name) to the end.
It will read in header.txt, put that file before the list begins, and
footer.txt, to put it at the end (currently unused). It should be run as
   PROGNAME.EXE 032 - and read in CCI-NODE.### and output CCI-LIST.### (where
   ### = same number as given in the commandline). There should be NO pauses
or other delays as it will be run from a batchfile while compiling a new
infopack. CAN SOMEONE *** PLEASE *** do this for me?

2) Same as above, but will output exact versions of TELNET.NFO and DIALUP.NFO

3) WE NEED A TELNET HOST! CyberCrime needs one system (preferably multinode,
but single node is acceptable), running on a high-speed connection (ISDN,
Cablemodem, T1), *WITH* a front-end mailer online, who can act as the
official CCi Telnet Host. What this will allow us to do is offer the
ability for new bbses to connect their front-end to YOUR front-end via
telnet. Former hub/host experience IS required.

4) TUTORIAL MAKERS NEEDED! We need sysops who can write up text files
detailing, from start to finish, how to setup CyberCrime on their system.
Also, would be nice to have actual configuration files containing all the
CCi bases, fully setup, for various packages. In particular, we need
complete, start-to-finish tutorials on how to configure (with CyberCrime):

WWIV. PCBOARD. REMOTEACCESS. GECHO. FASTECHO. ALLFIX.

Completed tutorials will be given their own directory on the CCi FTP site,
and will be sent out to ALL sysops in need of setup assistance.

5) CyberCrime needs EXPERIENCED sysops willing to hub CyberCrime in ALTERNATE
   message-networking formats:

   a) WWIV network. Must know the exact process of configuring and hubbing
for a WWIV network, and be willing to write up text files explaining
the process for anyone who is interested.

   b) MAILING LIST. It was determined (a while back) that individual echos
COULD be converted over to a mailing list through use of a program such
as GIGO. Need a CCi sysop who currently uses this program (or is, at
least, willing to learn) and has an e-mail account capable of handling
      the volume.

   c) WORLD WIDE WEB! We need a sysop with a web-based bbs, who can offer
      CyberCrime in a web-readable format.

   e) Anything else bizarre, offbeat, or extreme. Have a program that'll
convert Fido messages into an unusual or esoteric mailing format?
Even if there's only three people in the world who use it, they may
want to join CyberCrime eventually, so volunteer your time and make
      it happen. :)

6) Get this infopack OUT THERE! Spread it all over the place. The more people
that know about this net, the more applications we get! Send this pack to
other BBSes in your area (even PEEDEE bbses, we just want that pack OUT
THERE)! Give it to friends, and recruit OTHER bbses if at all possible.
CyberCrime needs YOUR help, this is *NOT* a one-person project!
