 It's amazing to me. Of all the 25 "new" British rock bands to hit the US 
 billboard charts in the last 13 years only 2, Coldplay and Lostprophets, 
 have managed to get beyond the one or two hit wonder status and 
 establish themselves as major artists. There used to be a lot more 
 artists coming out of the UK before. What happened to the British 
 Invasion?
