 adverts for musicians in either?  Have you seen them in any other uk.*

 uk.jobs.musicians or uk.jobs.music (the latter would include jobs in 
 music shops and studios, I suspect) perhaps?  I think that it should be 
 under uk.jobs, anyway. 
  
 I would support such a group, especially if it included related 
 activities (such as sound and recording engineers, singer/songwriters, 
 etc.). 
  
 (Note followups to uk.net.news.config, override it if you want but 
 that's where I will see replies.)
