 Was a bit cop-out, it was Monday, and I had a comedown.... 
  
 Here is what I actually have against clubbing..... 
  
 Having to queue up 
 Having to be searched for anything other than weapons, 
 not being able to come and go as I please, 
 Having to pay through he nose to see  DJs that my mates who I listen to for 
 free, are just as good as, 
 There being NOTHING of any good in my home town any more ( Reading ) - so 
 having to go miles if at all. 
 Being crammed into an enclosed space. Made worse when greedy promoters 
 squeeze more in than should be there ( which leads to ) - 
 Inadequate ventilation / being to hot when dancing, and not being able to 
 get fresh air , 
 Having to pay like 3 quid for a pint, 
 Not being able to have a spliff with said pint. 
 Having to do any 'rugs  commando style, so jack boot bouncer don't give you 
 a hiding outside after nicking said 'rugs and money. 
 People looking down their noses' on others' folks drugs of choice. ( Don't 
 let it spoil it for everyone else, just ignore them ! ) 
 Having to score in a club, 
 ( as mentioned ) Having to wade through piss, to take a piss, need a dump 
 and your fcuked ( or at least treated very suspiciously ) 
 Bar closing before I'm ready to quit drinking 
 Club closing before I'm ready to sleep. 
  
 I think that's the main points. 
  
 I don't really get to many clubs these days, they just don't cater for what 
 I want out of raving........ 
  
 I find clubbing is like taking a wild, free and expressive culture that 
 means the world to some people and rationing out the fun to them piece meal. 
 It's bullshit, you can do this, but not that, you can have this, but pay me 
 this first....... 
 For me raving is about being and feeeling free, which could not be further 
 from how I feel when inside a club ( these days...... ) 
  
 Still, horses for courses and all that...... 
 Am I alone in my utter hatred of nightclubs, yet undieing dedication to the 
 rave ( or Is this UMC now ?! ).
