No, it just makes them sleep on the dancefloor, block doorways, crash
into you and in my experience does make people violent (although their
capacity to actually hit you is severely hampered).

Of course. K became popular years after acid techno did.
I remember a time when most people at acid techno parties were pretty
much only on E, acid or speed. Then came the special brew crew
followed by the ketheds. I left the scene when K took hold. Tried to
go back once or twice but to be honest, I can't do acid techno free
parties anymore. Still do plenty of acid house, trance, breaks rave
and psy-trance parties though. Much cleaner, nicer people, make some
effort at toilet control and generally better atmosphere all round.
(especially at the acid house & general rave parties).
