Arse. There was a separate queue for people without tickets - don't know how many got in but they were holding everyone back until most of the ticketed people got in. I know a few people certainly did get in eventually. In spite of the massive queue it moved really quickly. It was a tremendous evening, with Shpongle (Simon P and, unexpectedly as he was not meant to be there, Raja Ram!!) playing the best gig I have seen in my life. And it was a DJ set! I can't wait to see them live next year. It was Si's birthday and he was exhausted - 2 hours as Hallucinogen live, then another 2 getting us Shpongled. But when he finished, the entire crowd sang him Happy Birthday and he was so so touched. Brilliant moment. Don't want to rub it in any more, but you should have perservered and tried queuing. You probably wouldn't have got in before 12 but you'd have caught the last eight hours..... --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
