From: john@scroll.demon.co.uk You know that Hungarian thread made me muse over historic locations in the UK where I'd like to attend a party. Personally, I would love to have a rave in (i) the Guildhall. I think it's one of the most elaborately decorated rooms in the UK - and such acoustics with all that wood. (ii) Stonehenge. My inner hippy child which I haven't strangled yet (hi Hatty) pushes several buttons there. (iii) London Eye - Ok, it will be a SMALL party in one of those bubbles, (more like your own birthday party) and you won't be able to move around or get out and chill or, I suppose, go to the toilet, unless you can piss in the Thames directly (and the girls will surely be at a disadvantage there), but BUT B-U-T it would be good for a single DJ set say 12-2:00am would it not? Any more ideas? -- JohnM Author of Brazil: Life, Blood, Soul http://www.scroll.demon.co.uk/spaver.htm --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
