 im running an sb livedrive v2, with a roland xv2020, a delta card (4 
 channel) all to a behringer mixer, with fx units as well... 
  
 i haven't had a problem with the live stuff, but i only use it now for 
 soundfonts / recycle etc... 
  
 the xv and the cubase vst instruments are the basis of my compositions 
 now... 
  
 the reason i said the sb is because its a good way to get started,,, depends 
 how much you want to spend really... 
  
 my next purchase is a terratec... oh indeed!
