 Agreed!  If you want durability... 
  
 but the Pioneer ones are kinda in between the Sonys and HD25's 
  
 They sound great, have large earpieces/cups (WTF are they called?) don't 
 fall apart, and  have a decent coiled lead. Thats a big minus with the hd's, 
 if you've ever worked in a club with a big booth and had more than 1 step to 
 get to your records you'll understand! 
  
 Guess thats why the HD's have a steel cord!!
