 I've owned all of them, my newest cans are the Pioneer ones, they don't 
 sufffer from the same fate as the sonys! 
 I can only praise them, they are made of rigid plastic though, so could be 
 damaged if mishandled. 
  
 But if you're gonna abuse your cans then go for the Sennheiser HD25s, the 
 headband is made from very flexible plastic, damn near bomb proof. Mine 
 lasted 5 years, compared to only 8 weeks for the Sonys, which i swapped for 
 the Pioneers 
  
 I only changed because i blew a driver in the HD25s and fancied a different 
 pair of cans after 5 years!!
