 Weren't Wasp Factory managed by Eddie Izzard? Or was that another 
 Banksian band? 
  
 I personally wouldn't group Carcass with World Dom. World Dom always 
 sounded like a madder, angrier PWEI to me. They were never as loud as 
 Lard. Althought I remember getting into tiffs regarding Carcass, Bolt 
 Thrower and whether they could be grouped with bands like Nuclear 
 Assault. Hardcore or Industrial? Tomato, tomato? 
  
 As for who started it all... Throbbing Gristle. Or, if you want to be 
 very pedantic, Pierre Shaeffer,
