I`m certainly no lover of United but I have to agree. They have brought some
fantastic players through their youth system who have been the bedrock of
their success over the last decade. Arsenal have had a couple of big money
buys amongst the bargains aswell, all down to good management, not big
bucks. Neither Liverpool, Newcastle nor Chelsea have been able to buy
success despite throwing large sums about. Being a fan of a team in the
lower divisions I don`t even know what having money to spend is like!
