 The Eccleston Doctor knows many things. He knew of the Slitheen, but I don't 
 recall any previous Doctor mention them. And the Boxx of Balhoon. And the 
 Face of Boe. And the Forest of Cheem. Etc. So just because he knows UNIT 
 doesn't prove that he's the 9th (or greater) Doctor - just that he's already 
 aware of them.
