 Well, Rose witnessed that one (I'm aware you haven't seen the episode yet). 
  
 But how do we know that CE is the *ninth* Doctor? Since we didn't see any 
 regeneration between McGann and Eccleston, there could have been one or more 
 in between! Maybe David Tennant is the thirteenth after all...
