 This bit confused me a little - I took that bit to mean that he had just 
 regenerated, but at the same time, Clive had all these references and 
 photos showing him at various points in history in the same guise. Unless 
 of course, these other appearances were in the Doctor's future, but 
 Earth's past? 
  
 I have enough trouble understanding one-way time flow like we're used to, 
 without all these crossovers!
