In the regeneration scene in "Parting of the Ways", Tennant played the
Doctor's tenth incarnation with an English Home Counties / Thames
Estuary accent. Therefore it seems unlikely that his Scots heritage
will play any major role in the character.
The entirety of his spoken part was [IIRC] "Hello. Hmm, new teeth,
that's weird. Now, where were we? That's right- Barcelona!".
"Barcelona" is pronounced very differently in an southern English
accent than in a Scottish accent. It was very noticable that he wasn't
playing it in his native Scots.
