 More likely.  American media is much too attached to the idea of star 
 power.  They would much rather have a poor show with star names.  American 
 star names that is. 
  
 Still, I wonder how the USA Dr Who fans feel about this?  There are, or 
 were, quite a lot of them.  If I remember right they even offered to try 
 to help fund the programme when Michael Grade finally managed to get it 
 canned.
