 I just wanted to send you a quick note to say, that you and the BBC team 
 produced a wonderful series of Dr Who this year, it was superb in almost 
 every respect, casting, scripts, music and of course those special effects!! 
  
 The only thing I would change would be the time of year it goes out! 
 Starting the series in March means that we are getting longer nights, bank 
 holidays, and of course better weather, when folk tend to stay away from 
 their TV's more! I'm sure if the next series started in September the 
 viewing figures (which were great this year) would be even better for the 
 next series!!  What do we all think about this? 
  
 The final episode "Parting of the Ways" was a television gem and a most 
 moving piece of drama too. It deserved far more than 6.1 million viewers!!! 
  
 Once again very many thanks for a great 13 weeks and I look forward to the 
 Christmas special and new series next year!!
