 Why could the Tardis not go back by herself to help "My Doctor" once she had 
 taken Rose back? 
  
 Why did Rose have to force her open? 
  
 I have watched that bit a few times. They show the hook intact as if it had 
 just slipped off. Did the hook open it up, or did the Tardis allow herself 
 to be opened when she realised Rose had enough strength of will to be able 
 to carry her life force into the outside world and wipe the Daleks from time 
 and save "My Doctor"
