The Grenfell inquiry isn€€€t about finding the truth, it is about covering
 up
 a number misdeeds:

Fraudulent subletting- leading to confusing to how many people inside.
The source of the fire and why it wasn€€€t put out before it spread.
Why fire engines couldn€€€t gain access- illegal parking.
The MASSIVE fraudulent claims for compensation

But no, there must be a victim narrative. Even for fake victims.

The same happened when the Hillsborough inquiry was repeated. Had fans
without tickets not tried to force their way into the ground, there would
have been no crush. Had fans not caused problems in the past, there
wouldn€€€t have been fences. But that didn€€€t fit the victim narrative.

I€€€m always amazed people credit Spycatcher with being more than the
 ramblings of a bitter failure.

Sadly, we don€€€t punish Civil Servants, Politicians for dishonesty - at
least not usually. In most cases they may be €€€banished€€€ for a short
 time,
only to emerge in a new, often better, role.
