Anti-Zionism has a long and proud history among the Jewish Community
going back to the 19th century.
.
Many of whom have regarded Zionism as simply serving the interests of
Anti-Semites who merely wished to rid Europe of its Jews. A "First Solution"
if you like. With the Balfour Declaration simply formalising that ambition
The foundation of an Israeli State before the arrival of the Messiah, has
always been opposed by the more Orthodox, as contradicting the Divine
Will.*
While others were never wholly convinced of the sheer practicalities, or by
the
overwhelming sense of optimism which characterised the early days. Certainly
before the First Arab-Israeli War.
Unfortunately Mark Lewis, like many other people has a very limited
perspective
where the history is concerned. Possibly not helped by his spending his
evenings engaging a succession of Anti-Semitic trolls
